We just got some pizzas from this little truck and I have to say I don't really understand the negative reviews...Frankly, we found them excellent, so much so that we'll be back in Sanary to get some more!

The pizza was good, the crust and all that... Well, maybe a little more bacon would have been better. But above all, a warm welcome would have made all the difference. We politely asked, "How long does it take to make the pizza?" and here's the answer: "The time it takes to make it!" That's just not how you say it. A typical Norman response, and yet we're in the south!! Unfriendly, not very courteous, and not customer-oriented. Someone who was truly sensitive wouldn't have accepted that answer at all. As a regular holidaymaker in Sanary-sur-Mer, I get pizzas from this truck every year. The quality is really good. I'm never disappointed by the taste of these wood-fired pizzas… The problem is the service… it was already so-so in previous years, but in 2023 it's reached a new low: when you ask if you can have your pizzas cut and they reply, "Damn it, you should have said so first!" you're not entirely sure you heard correctly… but you did… Until now, I put up with it because quality took precedence over friendliness, but this is beyond the pale, Maxime…

Better pizzas elsewhere. Not at all customer-friendly, in my experience with the vouchers. Once, I had 10 vouchers for one free pizza: impossible because one voucher was crossed out (I hadn't noticed). So I paid for the pizza. They pointed this out to me in a rather unfriendly tone. The second time: I came with my 10 vouchers and this time I had to pay €3.50 (the difference between a regular pizza and the one I ordered). Free pizzas are limited to 3! And the staff are not customer-friendly.

I'm outraged by such negative comments! How can people leave such negative reviews when they're mistaken about the place? Maxime Pizza is a pizza truck, not a pizzeria, and it doesn't have tables or chairs! How can some people complain about the wait for a table? The service is very friendly and welcoming, and above all, the pizzas are EXCELLENT, wood-fired, very generously topped, and very reasonably priced. The dough is soft, even the next day, if I have any left over. As proof of the quality of their pizzas, they've been selling at this location for over 17 years! Seriously, all opinions are valid, but please, don't mistake this place for the wrong one! As for me, I'm sticking with quality! THANK YOU MAXIME PIZZA!
