Pizzéria Au Boucanier

The managers displayed a complete lack of humanity. They refused us entry, claiming the restaurant was full, even though there were clearly tables available and the establishment doesn't take reservations. It was pouring rain outside, but they refused to let us take shelter for a few moments. Worse still, they lowered the awning to force us to leave. Being pregnant, I expected a modicum of consideration, but this clearly didn't prevent them from behaving so rudely. Judging by the numerous similar reviews, we are unfortunately not the only ones to have had this experience. We will never set foot in this place again and can only advise you to avoid it.

The place to go. Delicious, full of locals (which is definitely a good sign). They are not stressed to offer menu in English (well, I'm Russian, speak English & Spanish). Real oven with wood.

The pizza was delicious and the size was perfect for one person. No wait. The atmosphere and the server were great! A unique restaurant.

Very nice welcome personel, food was delicous.

Disappointed by my experience. I paid €24 for a piece of meat that I found very tough, accompanied by half a potato that was simply boiled and then pan-fried. Given the price, I expected better quality. Furthermore, the chairs started being stacked before we had finished our meal, which made us feel rushed to leave. I do not recommend this establishment.

Excellent pizza with a very thin crust, it's original. Top-notch service.

Every year for years we've had a wonderful time at this restaurant. We ordered a Bandolaise pizza and tagliatelle bolognese; it was delicious, as were the desserts. The service was impeccable, and they let us enjoy our aperitif in peace, which isn't always the case; usually, we haven't even finished our aperitif before the main courses arrive. Thank you.

It looked good on paper, but no such luck—we have a child! Immediate refusal. I can understand, given how much space a stroller takes up, but no, no, that's not the problem; it's the children who are the issue. Clearly, they're considered walking monsters. It's a shame there's such a lack of open-mindedness, especially in a tourist town…

I always enjoy coming here. The waiter is very friendly and attentive. I like the Rose pizza and the desserts. I recommend it!
